Growing Family
This was my 3rd journey for the same family. We decided on a pre scheduled C section based on my last birth. My doctor said he was fine with doing the c section at 39 weeks pregnant. I gave birth right before 8am on December 2, 2024. My IP’s drove out the night before my c section and stayed in a hotel. They saw me right before I went back to deliver and i didn’t see them again until hours later when I was feeling better. I have delivered at that hospital 3 times now, and each time I loved the staff.
Since this was my first c section, I was very nervous when I saw the big surgery room, I almost started regretting my decision on a C-section. During the procedure I felt very helpless since I couldn’t move. It went by so fast, so that part i loved! After delivery I felt great, besides the fact that I was cut open… I was definitely proud of myself that I was able to birth 3 babies for this family. The IP’s and baby did spend a lot of time in my hospital room before we all got discharged. I honestly only stayed in the hospital for 1 day and felt confident that I could go home and rest. The first 4 days postpartum was rough! I’ve never experienced that sort of pain. After that, I felt amazing!
